About NRDS

​Northern Rivers Dance Studio (NRDS) is your locally owned and operated dance expert. We provide professional dance lessons for all age groups starting from 2 years and up. Our Studio aims to provide a safe, happy, and dynamic learning environment for your child while encouraging a love of dance and a sense of achievement. NRDS follows the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) syllabus, which guides students through a systematic approach.

All of our teachers are qualified with a certificate III or IV by ATOD/or are working towards receiving this qualification.

At NRDS we cater for a range of dance styles which include;
- Ballet (exams available)
- Tap (exams available)
- Jazz (exams available)
- Hip Hop (exams available)
- Contemporary
- Musical Theatre/Triple Threat (Singing/Dancing/Acting)
- Line Dancing
- Troupes 
- Private Lessons

We also provide opportunities whereby students can participate in technical examinations across all grades in jazz, ballet and tap. This allows students to perform in front of an experienced ATOD examiner and receive feedback about their dancing ability.
